Bentley Priory Museum has a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers, who support the Museum in a variety of different roles. Relevant training and support is given to all volunteers.
If you are interested in joining our volunteer team, please complete our Volunteer Application Form and return it to the Museum, via email or post.
If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 8950 5526.
Our Reception Volunteers are the first point of contact for Museum visitors, welcoming them to the Museum. Roles on Reception include admission tickets and shop sales. Training is provided on our user-friendly touch-screen till.
Room Stewards are invaluable in supporting interpretation in our exhibition galleries, from highlighting interesting artefacts to listening to visitor stories about Bentley Priory.
Our Volunteer Guides offer an engaging tour around the Museum, lasting between 45-60 minutes. Our tours are currently offered to Group Visits, with plans for other tours during busier periods.
Our hospitality volunteers support the Museum through serving drinks and light lunches in our welcoming Cafe.
Learning volunteers support our school visits and family activities during the schools holidays, from arts and crafts to object handling.
Our formal Italian Gardens offers a particularly peaceful place for volunteering. Our volunteering gardening session is run on a drop-in basis, once a week.
