Visitors enjoying drinks and snacks in the Museum Cafe

Museum Cafe

View of the formal Italian Gardens and the back of Bentley Priory Our inviting cafe overlooks the beautiful Italian Gardens.  The Cafe’s outdoor seating area is perfect during warmer weather.

Please note, the cafe is only open to Museum visitors, including those with Annual Membership.

Our hot and cold drinks menu includes traditional favourites such as bottled Ginger Beer and Dandelion & Burdock.

We currently have a variety of hot soups, toasted paninis and jacket potatoes available, as well as a range of delicious snacks and cakes.

You will need to pre-book your lunch if you are visiting as part of a group (20 people or more).

Please note that our Cafe is run by our amazing volunteers.

Group Lunches

Afternoon Tea served on vintage cake-stand We specialise in scrumptious sandwiches and delicious cakes for group visits, all served on delightful vintage crockery and made fresh on the day of your visit by one of our local catering partners.

Picnic Area

Please note that only food and drink bought in the Cafe can be consumed in the cafe. We do have an outdoor picnic area which can be used by anyone who wishes to bring their own lunch.

Due to external landscaping, visitors are currently unable to access the Museum’s picnic area. We hope to have access by August 2018. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
