Open Heritage Day Tour

This year we are offering we’re offering 4 themed tours of the Museum.
Friday 8th September, 3-4pm – Dowding and WWI: The Making of a Commander.
This tour is in conjunction with a temporary exhibition which explores how ACM Sir Hugh Dowding’s experiences as a WWI pilot shaped his convictions and leadership as Commander-in-Chief during the Battle of Britain.
Please note: These tours are offered free. Those attending the tour will be granted free Museum admission from 2.30pm, but usual Museum rates apply on admission before 2:30pm. The Museum closes at 5pm, allowing 1 hour in the Museum following the tour.
Tour size: Max. 20 people.
Places are booked on a first come, first served basis.
