DESCRIPTION:Temporary Exhibition Gallery \nExplore the WWI experiences of Royal Flying Corps pilot Hugh Dowding\, and how his experiences shaped his convictions and leadership as Commander-in-Chief of Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain in 1940 – based at RAF Bentley Priory\, Stanmore. \nThis exhibition has been co-curated by volunteers and has been generously funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

DESCRIPTION:* PLEASE NOTE THIS TOUR IS NOW FULLY BOOKED * \nThis year we are offering we’re offering 4 themed tours of the Museum. \nThursday 7th\, 3-4pm – Bentley Priory: From Where The Battle of Britain Was Won.  \nThis tour explores Bentley Priory’s pivotal role as Headquarters Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain. \nPlease note: These tours are offered free. Those attending the tour will be granted free Museum admission from 2.30pm\, but usual Museum rates apply on admission before 2:30pm. The Museum closes at 5pm\, allowing 1 hour in the Museum following the tour. \nTour size: Max. 20 people. \nPlaces are booked on a first come\, first served basis. \n
