DESCRIPTION:Temporary Exhibition Gallery \nExplore the WWI experiences of Royal Flying Corps pilot Hugh Dowding\, and how his experiences shaped his convictions and leadership as Commander-in-Chief of Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain in 1940 – based at RAF Bentley Priory\, Stanmore. \nThis exhibition has been co-curated by volunteers and has been generously funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

SUMMARY:October Half-Term
DESCRIPTION:Join us over half-term in commemorating members of the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) who fought in WWI by making freestanding poppies.\nThe poppies will be used for a display accompanying our WWI concert performed by Tonic Choir and children from Kenmore Park Junior School on Saturday 11th November. \nThe poppies can be collected after the concert to keep. \nTo find out more about the concert\, please see our other events for November.
