SUMMARY:POSTPONED: Friday Morning Talks: Finding The Few
DESCRIPTION:We are sorry to announce that due to the current outbreak of coronavirus\, the Museum is now closed and this talk has been postponed. We hope to arrange a new date for the talk with the speaker and will update the website in due course. \nPlease accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. \n\nJoin us for another Friday Morning Talk by speaker Andy Saunders\, who will explore the life of a number of Battle of Britain pilots who were shot down and killed\, but who remained missing for decades until diligent research and searches brought identification to them and closure to their families. \nEach case represents a fascinating human story of humour\, drama\, love and tragedy; and each one represents a startling tale of detective work and remarkable coincidences\, oft-times revealing controversy. \nBy Andy Saunders \n  \nAbout Andy Saunders \nAndy Saunders is a freelance writer and researcher specialising in military aviation history\, especially the Battle of Britain and Blitz period. \nHe is the author of over 25 published books\, with more writing projects currently underway.
