DESCRIPTION:Event Sold Out. \nJoin us for our upcoming Friday Morning Talk\, when we will be joined by Nick Oram. \nIn this talk author Nick Oram will share some of the incredible collection of true stories from his second book\, Spitfire Pilots Legends of the Air. \nThe talk focuses on the gallant wartime pilots who announced themselves to the world\, winning the public’s affection and forging the lasting legend of the Spitfire. \nThere are tales of daily combat missions during and after the Battle of Britain\, and in the war-torn skies of North Africa and Europe –   told using the pilots’ extraordinary first-hand accounts and archive interview clips. \nThis talk will take place onsite in the Museum’s Learning Centre and is included in Museum admission or Annual Membership.  \nPlease note this event has now sold out.
