DESCRIPTION:Join us for a talk from navigator Captain Arthur Creighton\, who will share with us his experiences in Bomber Command during the Cold War. \nAfter training as a navigator in the Royal Air Force\, Creighton went on tour on Canberras in No. 1 Group Bomber Command. Subsequent training on H2S led to a tour on Strategic Reconnaissance Valiants of No. 3 Group Bomber Command\, covering the period of the Cuban Missile crisis. DESCRIPTION:As part of his exciting Artist in Residency week at Bentley Priory Museum\, professional aviation artist Mark Postlethwaite GAvA will be giving a talk covering his thirty years of painting aircraft. \nDuring this time\, Mark has flown in a variety of front line fast-jets as well as vintage aircraft such as the Fe2b and the Fieseler Storch. He has also been lucky enough to work with some of the most legendary veterans of WWII as well as most front line RAF Squadrons. \nHis work hangs in museums and private collections worldwide and has appeared on over 150 book covers for Osprey Publishing. \nMark will talk about some of the highlights and funny stories from those thirty years and demonstrate his approach to painting. \nBy Mark Postlethwaite \nIncluded in Museum admission\, Annual Membership\, or £5 donation. \nReserve Your Place
