February 11, 2022 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

About the Aviatrix Project

Role models are key to inspiring the next generation – and even more so in aviation. The Aviatrix Project aims are to work closely with primary and secondary schools as well as higher education institutions to encourage girls into STEM and enthuse them about aviation. We create opportunities for commercial and private pilots, engineers and other aviation professionals to visit schools to deliver assemblies and workshops linked to the curriculum. Whilst we will visit as many schools as we can across the UK we will make a special effort to reach communities where such opportunities are not the norm.

This talk will take place onsite in the Museum’s Learning Centre and is included in Museum admission or Annual Membership.
