DESCRIPTION:Join us for another Friday morning talk\, when we discover the fascinating story of Mary Ellis\, who followed her lifelong dream of flying by joining the Air Transport Auxiliary.  From 1941 to 1946 Mary flew 400 Spitfires and 76 different varieties of aircraft including heavy bombers; this was only the start of an illustrious career! \nBy Melody Foreman \nIncluded in Museum admission\, or £3 donation. Booking not required\, simply come along on the day.
