We will be open on Sundays throughout September 2017. September is traditionally the month in which the Battle of Britain is commemorated. To mark this, we will be open every Sunday in September 2017. Standard opening hours and admission charges apply.

Friday Morning Talks: ‘War Girls: An Anthology of Poetry and Prose by Women in the First World War’

Ruth Sillers, who began her career with National Youth Theatre and regularly reads for Radio 4 and BBC World Service, will be talking about and performing extracts from her own audio book compilation, ‘War Girls’. The anthology is a commemoration of the remarkable and largely unsung experiences of women in the First World War told in their own words. The poppies will be used for a display accompanying our WWI concert performed by Tonic Choir and children from Kenmore Park Junior School on Saturday 11th November. Friday Morning Talks: ‘Poppies, Pilots and Pictures: Exploring Remembrance in the Aftermath of War’
