Coronavirus Update: Bentley Priory Museum will reopen on Saturday 18th July 2020. The Cafe will be open, offering a reduced menu of hot and cold drinks, cakes and packaged snacks, which can be enjoyed on the Cafe terrace. We regret that we are unable to serve hot food at the current time.


Our vintage Cafe is the perfect place to have refreshments and lunch during your visit.

Our menu includes hot soups, toasted paninis, and jacket potatoes, as well as a range of delicious cakes and snacks. Please see our boards for our seasonal specials.

If you have any dietary considerations, please let staff know when you order.

Our vintage Café overlooks the beautiful Italian Gardens.  The Café’s outdoor seating area is perfect during warmer weather.

Please note, the Museum’s vintage Cafe is open only to Museum visitors, including those with Annual Membership. 

Group Lunches

Afternoon Tea served on vintage cake-stand You will need to pre-book your lunch if you are visiting as part of a group (20 people or more).

We offer a tasty selection of light lunches, snacks and sweet treats in our delightful vintage Cafe.

We specialise in decadent afternoon teas for group visits, all served on delightful vintage crockery and made fresh on the day of your visit.

Picnic Area

Please note that only food and drink bought in the Cafe can be consumed in the cafe. We do have an outdoor picnic area which can be used by anyone who wishes to bring their own lunch.

Due to external landscaping, visitors are currently unable to access the Museum’s picnic area. We hope to have access by Spring 2019.We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

If you wish to bring a picnic, please let volunteers know during your visit and we will accommodate you in the Museum’s Café until the Picnic Area is available.
