Museum Open Day: Battle of Britain Day, 15 September

Bentley Priory Museum is usually closed on Tuesdays. To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Battle of Britain Day on 15 September, the Museum will be open.
Opening hours: 10am-5pm (last admission at 4pm)
On 15 September 1940, the German Luftwaffe launched two significant bombing raids on London. The first wave of 250 bombers flew over the English Channel around 11am, the second wave around 2pm. The bombing raids were intercepted by Fighter Command and the Luftwaffe suffered significant losses.
