Friday Morning Talks: Twin Survival: Memoirs of the Blitz

Join us for our next Friday Morning Talk, when we will be joined by George and Peter Summerfield.

From their last minute escape from Germany and arrival in London just four days before the start of the second World War. George and Peter will talk about their memories of the changes war made in their lives from the anticipation of Nazi attacks, along with the vital efforts needed to survive the months of bombing during the Blitz, frequently spending nights in the London Underground – to the excitement at the end of the war, and finally expressing their personal gratitude for survival in England.
