We can offer bespoke tours and workshops for community groups, which focus on the history of Bentley Priory.

Our schools workshops can be adapted for a variety of groups, including Air Cadets, Scouts and Guides. This includes our unique workshop ‘Plot the Battle of Britain’ in which participants can learn about the important work of RAF Bentley Priory during the Battle of Britain by plotting incoming enemy raids on a recreated Filter Room map.

We have worked in partnership with community groups on projects and exhibitions.

Community group exploring the history of Bentley Priory through engagement with the handling collection

For example, in 2015 we were proud to be the heritage partner for an HLF Young Roots project with community cohesion group Aik Saath, which focussed on the stories of the Polish aircrew during World War II. This exhibition has subsequently been displayed at Bentley Priory Museum twice, and elsewhere across the country.
