Friday Morning Talk: 200 Years of Aviation History in Film & Sound

20 May at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

A fascinating range of material has found its way into the Royal Aeronautical Society’s library collections over time. This includes rare flight-test footage, publicity films from aircraft manufacturers, great stories from the golden age of flying, the first ever technical drawing of an aeroplane and lectures by some of the giants of aeronautics.

Join us to explore some of the National Aerospace Library’s film, sound and archive collections, including material that has yet to reach the National Aerospace Library YouTube Channel, AeroSociety Soundcloud or our Heritage website.

This talk will take place onsite in the Museum’s Learning Centre and is included in Museum admission or Annual Membership.
