A talk by Sharon Ward. From the embers of WW1, Britain's air defence evolved and Fighter Command was born.  Based on Cabinet, Air Ministry & RAF papers, this talk will chart the evolution of Britain's air defence system that faced the might of the Luftwaffe in 1940.
