Friday Morning Talks: The Story of Flt Lt Eric Lock, DSO, DFC and Bar.

Join us for another Friday morning talk. This one is the story of Battle of Britain ace, Eric Lock. By Mike Bradbury, author of "A Ruddy Awful Waster: Eric Lock, DSO, DFC & Bar. The Brief Life of a Battle of Britain Ace". Included in Museum admission, or £3 donation.

Friday Morning Talks: Fighter Command – The Roof over Britain.

A talk by Sharon Ward. From the embers of WW1, Britain's air defence evolved and Fighter Command was born.  Based on Cabinet, Air Ministry & RAF papers, this talk will chart the evolution of Britain's air defence system that faced the might of the Luftwaffe in 1940.
